How to Flip the Senate

Blue Wave Success Guide

It can't be overstated how important it is to flip the Senate in November and assure that the Democrats - and not Mitch McConnell - have control of the Senate.

Two lists are included. One shows Senate seats up for election in 2020 with Democratic challengers with chances of flipping the seats to Blue. It also includes a list of At-Risk seats with Democratic incumbents in states with majority Republican constituencies.

The data included has been developed primarily from information provided by Indivisible 535 (https://www.elect535.org/about-us) and coordinated with Senate related reports by Force Multiplier, Roll Call, the Cook Political Report, and The Green Papers. Indivisible recommends focus on Maine, Colorado and Arizona.

Notes

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (
www.dscc.org and www.dscc/take-action/) has unfortunately not developed website information to be of sufficient value at this time.

They focus on the nine Republican held Senate seats that could be flipped to Blue to achieve “majority” status since they are up for election in 2020. Separately, 3 seats are shown with Democratic incumbents that are At-Risk.

In the cases of Senate races in North Carolina and Georgia where the current candidate information was undefined, candidates were added based on their financial standing shown on The Green Papers site.
