The stakes have never been higher, and we all want to put our energy and resources toward the best outcomes possible in November and beyond. With the torrent of emails and ads competing for attention, options to make an impact can seem overwhelming. The LincolnDems offer some answers to commonly asked questions, distilling the options to make an impact in November into manageable, solid solutions.

Q: What can I do NOW to create a Blue Tsunami in November?

A: Support the Biden-Harris campaign through Contributing, Displaying Signs, and Phone Banking! Here’s how:

Contribute generously:

This election and the issues demand it of all of us. There are many ways to do so: check options with Force Multiplier, Together for 2020 and the Biden Victory Fund.

Display lawn signs:

Signs can be purchased from the LDTC for $25 per sign. Proceeds go to the Biden Victory Fund; Click here for more info in Lincoln, or you can purchase them directly from the Biden Victory Fund.

Phone banking:

Option 1: sign up at here

  • Phone banking Sundays at 4:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 pm.

Option 2 : work with Gary Davis, Lincoln captain for the Biden campaign

  • The initial schedule will be Monday 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Wednesday 11:00am - 1:00pm, and Friday 11:00am - 1:00pm. 

  • There will be a short tutorial before calling

Q: How can I help get out the vote in swing states to assure electoral college support and Democratic wins in Senatorial races?

A: Contribute to a Blue Wave by Phone Banking, Texting Campaigns, Postcarding, and Donating:

Option 2: Phone bank to Dems in North Carolina

Option 3: Phone bank to Dems in Florida who requested mail in ballots which were returned; ask them to update address information

Texting with training available:

Send texts with progressive organizations to get out the vote, mobilize volunteers, and support progressive issues and candidates.  Our local experts can train you to use Resistance Labs, an easy computer-to-phone-platform that doesn’t reveal your contact information. Sign up for training.

Option 1: with Grandmothers for a Brighter Future

Next round: Writing to 2000 voters in South Carolina to support Jaime Harrison. Lincoln volunteers have already written 3000 postcards to KY and 2000 to ME. (Stamps included in packs, $10/pack of 25 cards). Click here for more information.

Option 2: with Reclaim Our Vote

Reclaim Our Vote mailings go to suppressed voter populations in the South.  We have written to Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina The huge effort has sent 5 million postcards and will continue to reach out until mid October. Pick up cards ($5) in Wayland and purchase your own stamps for 20 cards/packet. Click here for more info.

Option 3: with Swing Left

Send Postcards to Michigan and Wisconsin with Swing Left groups working in the Greater Boston area. Other states are also an option.

Option 4: Registering Spanish-speaking voters in FL

Write in Spanish (script given) to members of a huge Latinx population in FL telling them how to register by mail. Democrats need their votes. Pick up in Lincoln.
