Setting Our Sites on 2020

In the fall of 2019, 43 Lincoln Democrats vigorously participated in a strategy session to create a Roadmap for Action in 2020. 

There were presentations by our partners, Concord Indivisible, Force Multiplier, and Lincoln Grandmothers for a Brighter Future, and we heard the results of our petition drive to get Ranked Choice Voting on the Ballot.

After presentations, a survey was taken among those present to determine Lincoln Dem priorities for 2020. Getting out the vote for electing Democrats (in Lincoln and elsewhere) and working for candidates after the primaries were top priorities.  Issues chosen for particular focus in 2020 include Climate Justice, Gun Control, Health Care, Immigration Reform, and Racial Justice.
