What is a Caste System?
Amid conversations of race and injustice nationwide, Ms. Wilkerson's work on the U.S. caste system has been deemed by The American Prospect Magazine as "the missing puzzle piece of our country's history."

Ms. Wilkerson, Pulitzer Prize winner and New York Times best selling author of 'The Warmth of Other Suns' and 'Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents', will offer a historical account of the U.S. caste system and its impact on our modern society and culture. Please find Ms. Wilkerson's bio here.

How Can Philanthropy Disrupt the Caste System?
Philanthropists and celebrated NFL Super Bowl champions, Jason and Devin McCourty, are joining our conversation to discuss how they are disrupting the caste system.

The McCourty's have disrupted health outcomes with Tackle Sickle Cell and continue to disrupt educational outcomes during COVID-19 by buying Chromebooks for Kids. In 2018, the McCourty's started the Double Coverage Podcast, where they discuss everything from game breakdowns, current events, and charitable initiatives to social justice. We look forward to them joining us to help us better understand how we, too, can disrupt the caste system by Giving Black.
