Voting Day: MA State Primary

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, voting by mail is encouraged for the September 1st Primary. However, if you wish to vote in person, Early Voting will be available, and you can always vote by coming to the polls on September 1st. The polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. The polling location is currently to be decided. If you decide to come to the polls, we ask that you follow the safety protocols below.

  • Wear a Face Covering

  • Maintain Social Distancing – keep 6 feet away from anyone not from your household

  • Keep your ballot dry and free from hand sanitizers – do not use hand sanitizer while handling your ballot and be sure that your voting booth is dry, as sanitizer will cause issues and tabulator breakdowns

Health and safety measures have been taken to ensure that anyone who comes to the polls is as safe as possible. The measures are listed below.

  • Voting booths will be sanitized between voters

  • Unused / sanitized pens will be provided to those who need to borrow one

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at the exit
