Republicans have filed over 250 bills in 43 states to restrict voting rights. They are targeting vote by mail, early voting and introducing voter ID requirements. The DSCC Legal Fund is on the front-line of the fight to protect the right to vote.

Marc Elias:

Marc Elias is the head of the Political Law practice at Perkins Coie,  He represents the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic Governors Association, and many Democratic members of Congress. He was general counsel for the 2004 presidential campaign of John Kerry and the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. Elias has worked on voting rights and redistricting lawsuits in more than 25 states.

The DSCC Legal Fund:

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s Legal Fund is on the front lines of the battles to challenge these bills and protect our right to vote.Their geographic focus is on states with key Senate races.
