Join The Walden Woods Project & RESTORE: The North Woods for a Stewardship Lecture with Dahr Jamail
Jamail will discuss his award-winning book THE END OF ICE: Bearing Witness and Finding Meaning in the Path of Climate Disruption. In THE END OF ICE Jamail journeys to the world’s “hot spots”—locations experiencing the most dramatic impacts of climate disruption—and he climbs and dives alongside leading experts and front-line scientists. THE END OF ICE is named one of the Ten Best Science Books of 2019 by Smithsonian and is a finalist for the 2020 Pen/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award for exemplifying literary excellence.
The book will be available for purchase at the event, with a book-signing by the author after the talk.
This event is FREE, but registration is required.
