Cap off your patriotic July Fourth weekend working to save democracy!
Concord Indivisible can't provide your BBQ and fireworks, but we’ve got patriotism covered! Bring your friends and family to CI’s July 5th Huddle@Home.
Sunday, July 5, 2020
4:00 - 5:30 PM
Zoom event from the comfort of your home
This meeting’s focus: the power of personal networks for social change.
Reaching out to new people is important. But people are more likely to listen to people they know and trust. We can’t leave this powerful tool on the shelf.
Swing Left Greater Boston’s Janet Singer will update us on our winning swing state strategy and empower us to influence our own personal networks of friends and family this election season with her “who do you know” tool kit. Not to be missed!
Keep the good work going!
We’re skipping “action table” breakouts at our July 5 Huddle so we can stay in the main “room” and work on a whole group activity. But you can keep taking the actions we’ve started until we meet again on July 19. Here’s how:
• Florida Vote by Mail
• Send post cards to voters
• Make follow up phone calls to voters who got post cards
• Maine Phone Banking to oust Susan Collins
• North Carolina Phone Banking to flip NC blue
• Fight Voter Suppression by writing post cards to voters in Southern States
• Encourage colleges to get make sure their students are registered, through the easy Ask Your College website
What is a Huddle @ Home?
